Review

It's a good feeling to know that there are plenty of people out there who are single and looking to meet someone. However, the system takes the magic away when meeting people through services such as these.

eHarmony in particular had some advantages as keeping the profile visible only to a selected group of people - at-least that's what it says! but it takes the magic away when there a system controlling and delivering matches as it seems fit. An open mode where people can see each other and choose to take the initiative to communicate on one's own will would appear to be more appealing when is comes to romance.

I've been with eHarmony for 6 months. I received 200+ profiles, communicated with 10 and met one - only to find there was no chemistry! I've officially terminated my account this week!

I'm 35 and I look like I'm in late 20's. I thought I will have a better chance in meeting other doctorates such as myself through the www but sadly I was being either matched with older men or young  men who have never read a book in their lives. After trying and failing after many attempts, I'm going back to the old fashioned way of smiling and making eye contact while turning heads..

eHarmony is a waste of time and money!
