This NBC news story out of Philadelphia tells one such story of a woman who fell in love online only to be lose money and end up with a broken heart. Some of these scammers are very well spoken too as you will see in this video when a voice mail is played back from one of them. When it comes to online dating scams, the bottom line is to never wire anyone money – particularly someone you have never met. Never send compromising photos of yourself to others.
