The Science of Online Dating
The following video, by Buzzfeed, is about the Science of Online Dating; things you can do to improve your chances of getting a date (or even a response). The creators of the video took data from Match.com, OKcupid, and eHarmony to help users “create the perfect online dating profile”.
What makes this video great is the way it is edited. It is fast, visually appealing, entertaining, and very informative. It is, by far, one of the best online dating tip videos we’ve seen in a while.

Well the editing is nice on the video but the advice is lame. ha. If people do not know how to pose for a picture, they shouldn’t be dating online to begin with. Most of this is common sense.
thanks for sharing the video (though)…
To an online dating expert like yourself, the advice may seem “common sense”, but to the general online dater, I believe the advice is very insightful and helpful. The average online dater doesn’t know things like “how to tilt your head in a picture to create more interest” to using “girl” instead of “woman”. I also think that most men who online date aren’t aware that if you tell a person their picture is nice or attractive in the first message, it decreases your chance of getting a response. When you look at the video as advice to the general online dater, it definitely presented some great tips.
