Verona Street Refunds Membership Payments

It didn't. Verona Street was working on a strategy where women sign up for free and only men pay. Last year, the service made a special 6-month offer to men who signed up - $29.95 for 6-months. Verona Street was working on building its database, but was unable to open on schedule - December 15, 2003.

Refund checks began arriving this week, to men who had paid into the service, with the following letter:
