88% of eHarmony Users Looking for a Spouse

(onlinedatingmagazine.com - April 16, 2004) According to a recent poll of eHarmony.com members, 88% are frustrated with the search for a mate and hope to find a husband or wife through eHarmony's matching system.

In conjunction with the new survey results, eHarmony.com is also reporting that its scientific matching process has produced more than 2500 marriages between members.

"eHarmony.com is the first step to finding a life-long relationship for thousands of singles seeking their soul mate," said Dr. Neil Clark Warren, relationship expert and founder of eHarmony.com.

And the online dating industry is currently booming. Last year alone, at least half of all singles in the U.S. visited an online dating site, spending over $300 million in the quest for love.

"Research shows that most singles would like to be married if they could be married well," said Dr. Warren.
