TLC Unleashes Date Patrol:
Looking for Participants Who Live Near New York

(onlinedatingmagazine.com - July 12, 2003) The Learning Channel is about to unleash a new show that teaches singles then in and outs of dating then releases them to practice what they learned. Unleashing a team of relationship coaches on one person that have been previously unlucky in love, Date Patrol plans to transform them into dating gurus.

Led by host Peggy Bunker, Date Patrol is comprised of three coaches,
each in charge of resolving a particular dating dilemma:

1) Stephanie Raye is the ace communications expert and chat queen who helps daters improve their conversation skills;

2) Mark Edgar Stephens is a body language pro who instructs daters on non-verbal communication;

3) Terrence Charles is a style guru who takes the stress out of shopping and dresses daters to feel confident, comfortable and sexy.

The training period for each participant is four weeks. At the end of the four weeks, the Date Patrol releases the participant to successfully set up one date. The Date Patrol then monitors the first date from a surveillance van. If the date starts to take a turn for the worse, the subject can temporarily excuse himself/herself where the Date Patrol team will give advice to turn the date around.

Date Patrol premieres on Saturday, September 20, 2003 from 10-11 PM ET/PT on The Learning Channel.
