(July 4, 2011) Online Dating Magazine, an informative publication and watchdog group for online daters, is undergoing a major redesign that is expected to take 10 weeks to complete. As part of the redesign, the site is getting a new look (this page is an example of the new look – click here for the old look). The new design offers several new features that the old design didn’t, including:

> Loyalty Rewards Program
> Email Updates
> Sitemap
> Forums
> Easy to Use Commenting System

The lengthy part is moving the old site to the new site one page at a time as the new program being used is incompatible with the old program. Online Dating Magazine has more than 2,000 pages of original content. On July 23, 2011, Online Dating Magazine will celebrate 8 years of serving singles and online daters as an independent publication free of corporate influence.

Online Dating Magazine is also increasing its social media presence with a presence on Twitter (already more than 1,500 followers), Facebook (feel free to Like us), and even YouTube (we just did a channel background redesign).

While the process is underway, readers may sometimes see the old design depending on what article they are reading. No “old design” pages should be seen after September 15.
