At the recent American Music Awards, McCarthy confirmed to Radar Online that she uses the Internet in search for love because there “are no real guys” in Los Angeles. She is looking for a normal guy who “has a job”. Looks aren’t important to her, she says. Sweetness is.

McCarthy is an actress that appears on Two and Half Men. In the mid-1990’s she was the host of a popular dating show on MTV called “Singled Out”. Her most recent long term relationship was with actor Jim Carrey. The relationship ended in 2010.

McCarthy isn’t the only popular public figure to use online dating, although she is one of the few that admits to it.
