Online dating service Match.com and Major League Baseball have teamed up to help singles find love amongst other single fans. It is the first time that Major League Baseball has agreed to help their fans find love through an online dating service.
Singles will be able to find other fans through special “fan pages” on Match.com and can even add their favorite MLB team logo to their profile to make it easy for fans of the same team to identify with them.
“There is no better way to bring singles from around the country together than through America’s favorite pastime,” said Amarnath Thombre, President of Match.com. “With a quarter of our members self-identifying as baseball fans, this new partnership will continue to increase opportunities for singles to make a connection with other members.”

“Partnering with Match provides a fun new way for fans to show their favorite team allegiances within their personal Match profiles and connect with like-minded fans,” said Noah Garden, Executive Vice President of Revenue for MLB.com.
