Singing sensation Taylor Swift made waves throughout the industry today when she announced that she has been using online dating services to help inspire her upcoming album, “Mosaic Broken Hearts”. According to Swift, online dating provides a great opportunity to quickly meet many men, thus bringing her rapid inspiration for new songs.

“It’s like a kaleidoscope of memories,” says Swift. She proclaims that meeting so many men from online dating in a short period can be tough. “I mean this is exhausting, you know?”

Swift was inspired to try online dating earlier this year to the surprise of her friends. “Never say ‘never'” she says about exploring a world of endless men for dating, debating, and song relating.

Ben Gon is one of the men Swift went on a date with earlier last month.

“We went on two dates and she dumped me,” said Gon. Her last words to me were, “Love is a ruthless game.”

Gon says he doesn’t know what happened.

“We were in her room and she suddenly threw the phone across the room at me and called me a ‘self indulgent taker’. But all I did was take her on two dates.”

When Swift was asked about Gon, she called the relationship, “Sad. Beautiful. Tragic.”

Swift says her online dating philosophy is that when a relationship ends you immediately get up and “begin again.”

Swift says that Gon was the only relationship she ended. In all of her other online dates so far, the men have ended the relationship. When asked how that made her feels, she responded, “you don’t feel pretty, you just feel used.”

But her issues with men hasn’t taken Swift’s eyes off the goal – her new “Mosaic Broken Hearts” album is due in stores on October 13, 2013. And Swift has a message for her fans who line up and camp out for the album.

“Let me tell you now. You’re the lucky one,” she says.

When asked about her most memorable date, she said it was with a very romantic guy who took her to a Tim McGraw concert.

“He said the way my blue eyes shined put those Georgia stars to shame,” she recalls. But like with many of her other relationships, that one swiftly came to an end, earning her review of “miserable and magical.”

According to Swift, she is currently on all “22” online dating services and expects to go through seven more relationships in order to finish her Mosaic Broken Hearts album.

When asked whether she prefers online dating to dating fellow super stars, she says, “It’s all the same thing to me.”

And she promises that her Mosaic Broken Hearts album will be more of the same too – songs about breaking up, tragic love, and messages to some of those she dated.

“Time for a little revenge,” she expresses with a wink.
