The purpose of my scoring so low on Match.com are a few. While it appears to be the best looking one, it is horrible!! There are too many ads. I am an AOL subscriber and I used to have a profile in love@aol.com when it was in business. It was fantastic site. With love@aol.com, I was able to meet about 8 females in through that site in 1999 alone! After that, AOL sold the business to Match.com and ruined everything. I had no responses from females and no contact because it is a subscription format! I discovered when it was free, it was easier to meet females online then offline.. more honest than Match.com!

After Match.com began, no paid members emailed me anything! Another problem: too many people signed up there and I was overwhelmed. I even used keywords to reduce. Still, it was like having an entire list of profiles from a minor league level online dating service! Too many!

Another problem: they say love@aol.com is still in business but all I get redirection to Match.com, so I have no choice but to ignore Match.com. My profile is still there but I'm not paid member.

I tested the system with a tricky essay about my demands that I ask that I wish no contact with any females from other countries than USA and hinted that I have AOL email address the same as my profile screen name in Match.com. However, Match.com said I violated their terms of service. Ha! So, I had to block Match.com email as "spam". The critic who wrote the lengthy article on Match.com is correct about the advertisements. Too much! And too busy! The misleading saying "this is an advertisement" lead to a personal grooming supply is a violation of Federal Trade Act because it is false misleading and fraud mail as they call that. Match.com could have been fined by the Federal Government for fraud. Same with many online dating services. We need laws like the ones in the Philippines has. That is another story.

My recommendation for lonely hearts is to seek else where.. Not Match.com.
