I was an early member of eHarmony.com.
I received many matches, but most of the men never
responded or quit
responding when it got past the multiple choice questions.
When eHarmony.com added
the photo optional at beginning of process, many
men said they would not respond
unless there was a photo at the start - the whole
premise of eHarmony.com was
to get to know someone before the photo stage.
I was very specific with my 'requirements',
yet eHarmony.com began sending me profiles of men who
were not even
close to my choices (ie: race/age). I was a paying subscriber
for two years and yet only meet 4 men. I do not know
if this is the fault of the
eHarmony.com process or the men who were not really looking
for a serious relationship.
This site may work better
for the younger people, than the 'over 40' group.
