I signed up for a three month subscription to eHarmony. I
received some matches but none of them worked as
far as having
a personal meeting. For some time I received no matches
at all.
When I received my last credit card bill
I noticed a charge from eHarmony for
$29.95. I called my bank to tell them that I did
not authorize
this
charge. They told me that I would have to close
my credit card account to fix the problem. I decided
to contact eHarmony myself.
I emailed eHarmony regarding
the charge (there is no phone number).
They said that I opted for automatic renewal (not
true). I asked for a refund. They said that they
could not refund my money. They offered to give
me
3 months at no charge.
Again I asked for a refund.
They responded that my subscription would expire
within less than 30 days. Because I pitched a
fit I didn't get the extra months. The funny thing
was that within one or two days I suddenly received
six
emails telling me about matches that were made.
Prior to the above incident I received no match
correspondences for months
