Review
I have had nothing but problems with eHarmony since
the very beginning. At first it was kinda cool because
not too long after signing up I received several
matches. The problem is as I was going through them
it was easy to tell that whoever filled out this
profile was either a joke or was a non paying memeber...the
reason I say that is because there were several "match
has not yet responded" when browsing the person's
profile. Another issue was that I was being matched
with people half a foot taller than me. Ok, I'm not
sure about some people but I am not into women who
are 6 foot tall. I'm also matched with people who
had nothing in common with me.
I'm sorry, I don't
care what
ANYONE says... it's NOT ALL about the person on the
inside. There definitely needs to be some chemistry
there and part of that chemistry is having similar
interests. I have met a few of my matches and most
have been nice people but there wasn't too much we
both enjoyed doing, so it didn't make it past the
first date. Also, some of my matches are physically
incapable of doing the things i like to do. There
again, eHarmony does
not allow for one to regulate stuff like that. Upon
inquiry, the customer service representative responded
with a textbook answer, so don't expect any real
help if you ask for it. eHarmony may
throw some free time
at you like they did me, but that's about it. They
also give you the "it takes time" line
and may even suggest you redo the profile as if you
really didn't know yourself the first time around.
The bottom line is that eHarmony is
a business out to make money. They will promote themselves
anyway
they
can to make it appear they are the best around.
I don't agree since you really have no control over
your matches... they pick them, not you. Yeah,
they say its 29 dimensions... blah blah blah... but
what about
those several matches that were way taller than
me. eHarmony is not worth the money, period.
