I agree with the other about the site being too expensive and about requiring both to be a member to correspond. But my biggest gripe with eHarmony.com is the fact that when one signs up for the "free" personality profile and dont join then. For weeks you will get "matches" from them. Email after email saying these great people match you and are waiting to hear from you.

Well, I didnt learn my lesson the first time. I have actually joined twice and each time it was the same. Once you join all of a sudden there are not any matches to be found or very few. I go to the site, login and do a search and it comes back, we are sorry no one matches your personality profile at this time, please check back later... What happened to all those matches in the emails they sent to me?

And if you go the long way of correponding through eHarmony.com, it can take longer than the time you sign up for so you have to pay more to keep talking to a potential match. I was crazy enough to to sign up here twice , but never again.
