eHarmony Free Communication Weekend Begins
(onlinedatingmagazine.com -
May 25, 2007) For the third time in less than
a year, eHarmony is allowing all new and old members
to communicate for free from Friday through Monday.
Called "eHarmony Free
Communication Weekend," non-paid members of eHarmony are
afforded several privileges of paid members for a four-day
weekend. However, those privileges do not include
viewing photos of members or being able to "Fast Track"
the communication process.
eHarmony's free
communication weekend has been successful at driving
new paid memberships, particularly since the process
of communicating through the service's layers often
takes longer than four days to reach "open communication".
eHarmony's last free communication weekend
was February 16-19, 2007. Once a quarter, they launch
the free weekend event over a four day period, with
Monday usually being a holiday. Users are allowed to
use all communication tools, except for viewing photos
or skipping the normal communication phase in order
to fast track to email communications.
eHarmony is the largest relationship
service online.
