ChristianMingle Becomes Relationships.com
(onlinedatingmagazine.com -
March 21, 2006) Online Dating Service ChristianMingle
has changed its name and Website to Relationships.com.
Called, "The Christian Singles Destination,"
Relationships.com is
owned by Spark Networks which also runs several other
online dating services, including American
Singles.
"Any good one word domain a company
can secure for their online dating service is a definite
plus," says Joe Tracy, publisher of Online Dating
Magazine.
"Match.com was
able to get Chemistry.com for
their new relationship service and now Spark Networks
is changing Relationships.com to
be their ChristianMingle service. The only drawback
is that Relationships.com is
a perfect generic name for a relationship service,
but the target audience is Christians,
thus they will miss out on reaching a larger group
of people. But it's definitely a great name change
for them."
Relationships.com describes itself as
"an online community created specifically for Christian
singles looking to meet other Christians, to make new
friends or to find a life-long partner that shares
similar values, traditions and beliefs."
Prior to becoming a service for ChristianMingle,
Relationships.com was an online dating service powered
by American
Singles.
