Letter to the Editor:
True.com Horror Story
Here
is another horror story about True.com.
I
have been a member of True.com for over a year with
no real results. So I have been trying to cancel
for over 5 months with the run around from True.
After
5 months of stringing me on they have decided to
cancel my membership with only a partial month's
refund!! And after all conversations were done I
will probably never get that. I have contacted them
several times almost monthly either by phone and
by email with them just stringing me on and no cancellation.
Finally I talked to a supervisor at True and argued
with her, finally getting her to cancel my membership
reluctantly and with no real offer to credit me but
a partial month's cost. I told her I would dispute
the charges for Dec. and Jan. with my credit card
holder and she said go ahead. Basically she said
they have records that would benefit True in why
they did not cancel sooner.
I
would never use True.com and suggest all others
to never use it also!
