Letter to the Editor:
Another Man to Avoid Dating

I think you should add another number to the list:

#6 The Dude
Although he may be as old as fifty something, this man has never outgrown adolescence and has had only two serious relationships in his life…his dog and his car.

This guy might ask a woman out, but it will usually involve camping, drinking and you cooking for him. If you look really hot, you’ll have an advantage, as he likes to flaunt a pretty thing for his friends to admire. But, he much prefers hanging out at pubs, the slopes or sports arenas, and spending his weekends fishing/hunting, playing soccer/ hockey, or watching football with his buddies.

Why you should stay away: He will talk endlessly about himself, yet rarely listen with attention to what you have to say, as he thinks his world is much more interesting than yours. He may charm you for a few dates but soon you’ll discover he is selfish, self centered, and unevolved. He doesn’t want children, doesn’t want to share his finances or offer his emotional support to anyone or anything. AND when the check comes be prepared for a "dutch treat".

How to get rid of him: Ask him to get married.
