Meir Strahlberg, CEO of Date.com
Strahlberg is the Chief Executive Officer and President
of Avalanche, LLC, owners of Date.com and Matchmaker.
a privately held company, founded in 1997. In his role
as CEO of Date.com,
Strahlberg is responsible for the strategic and creative
vision of the company,
along with ensuring the company’s growth and
profitability. Strahlberg also manages the daily operations
overseeing the development of the sites main technical
applications as well as all financial,
marketing and new business initiatives.
Prior to founding Date.com, Strahlberg served as a
marketing consultant for several Internet companies.
Strahlberg was first exposed to the dating industry
when he was directly involved with International Audiotex,
a telephone dating system launched in 1992.
Strahlberg received his BA degree in Marketing and
Advertising from Baruch College.
