(January 23, 2012) Online Dating Magazine today unveiled a new logo design that replaces the old text-only design. The new logo features two uniquely drawn people reaching up and touching a heart on a keyboard key.
“Our goal was to create a logo that mixed romance and technology,” says Joe Tracy, publisher of Online Dating Magazine. “Online dating is about people being drawn to each other on the Internet and we wanted that reflected in the design.”
The logo was unveiled today as part of a year-long transformation the site is undergoing. Online Dating Magazine was launched in July 2003 as an independent publication for online daters and singles. The online publication has been free since it’s launch eight and a half years ago. Since then, the publication has helped hundreds of thousands of people navigate the world of online dating to find true love. At times, the magazine has also served as a watchdog groups, issuing warnings and challenging dating services that have projected misleading practices. Online Dating Magazine has been featured in dozens of newspaper, radio, and TV reports.
Online Dating Magazine has more than 2,000 pages of quality original content since 2003 and plans to double that in time for the 10-year anniversary of the publication.
