When I first learned that the famous “king of comedy” and talk show host had penned a book on dating and relationships, I thought that this in itself was pretty hilarious! After all, what type of credentials would lend to his credibility? Not to mention, giving advice to the lovelorn is a serious matter.  Not everybody should approach it (“kids don’t try this at home”)!
You get my drift?  But I must admit, I must give him his props.  I was pleasantly surprised.  He dispenses sage advice that instructs women that if they want to be treated better to stop “lowering the bar”.  He also lets us know that “every man has a plan” with regards to dating and mating.  Overall, the book is definitely worth the price of admission.  Pick it up!

HE’S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU -- By Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo
This popular relationship guide serves as a reality check for many women.  It decodes the double talk of “Mars” inhabitants and helps women see their actions with greater clarity.  More than likely, you’ll find a few of the characters you’ve dated amidst the many scenarios!

Oh my God! I love this book! I received it many moons ago from my friend Carol, and it still feeds my soul and spirit, with meditations, affirmations, and inspiration fo today's woman.  It addresses every issue under the sun for females of all ages and  backgrounds, from self- love, to spirituality, to creating a home that's a haven, to life balance. It's a must read.

Now...speaking of things worth a gander, here's a look at my 2009 SEXIEST MEN ALIVE LIST FOR '09.

I've often said that when People Magazine does their annual round-up, they definitely miss a few guys worthy of going ga-ga over!  Although some on the list are definitely on the money!

So without further adieu, here's my version.

DRUMROLL PLEASE....

1. BARACK OBAMA—He's powerful, poised, has a million dollar smile, and he has integrity to boot!
   
   
2. KEANU REEVES---Does he need an explanation? I mean, really...
   
   
3. MICHAEL BOLTON---He's soulful, sensitive, and has piercing eyes.  Short hair or long, he's still eye candy to me!
   
   
4. DENZEL WASHINGTON---This man has so much charisma and appeal he should bottle it and put it on the market.
   
   
5. D.L. HUGHLEY----With bedroom eyes, and a silly sense of humor, he's a turn-on to many.
   
   
6. MICHAEL EALY---There's just no way I can put it into words, but trust me on this one!
   
   
7. TERRENCE HOWARD----God must have worked overtime on him.
   
   
8. MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY---He's adorable, personable, and humble.
   
   
9. SHEMAR MOORE---He has terrific features and a body that won't quit.
   
   
10.  50 CENT----He's the reason females find “thug love” fascinating.
