Men Far Outnumber Women

I must admit it does my heart good to
read stories from other men, who like myself, have
had an overall frustrating experience online. I am
45, handsome, physically fit, and never married. The
older I get the harder it becomes to find an available
partner. I have actually had women who have been divorced
THREE TIMES tell me that my "never married" status
was a "red flag". I tell them I respect
their opinion but ask them "If I had failed at
marriage three times would that make ME a better catch?"
Universally
I have found it true that men far outnumber women.
It is a numbers game. Factor in the incredible competition
we get from married men who pose as singles, and it
is tough all around. I have female coworkers who date
online and I have seen the overwhelming amount of contacts
they get. Sometimes they can't even keep up with the
emails. Whereas for every 100 women I have contacted,
I get a response from two.
In using online dating in
the past year I have made four dates. One lady cancelled,
one lady was a no-show, and I met only two others who
did not consider me their financial match. As David
DeAngelo has accurately stated, "attraction is
not a choice".
Bottom line: women will go for
the jerky guy over the nice guy in SPITE of what
they say to the contrary. They love the challenge,
the mystery,
the intrigue. Being nice, handsome, stable, and willing
to commit mostly only appeals to women overseas who
want to marry American men. Their values are different.
Only thing wrong with that scenario is the fact that
I don't want to date women who live an HOUR away
from me... so why would I want to meet a woman who
lives on the other side of the globe?
I am a catch. I have a great career, hobbies, friends
and I can take care of myself just fine. It's just
a shame I can't find a special woman to share my world
with. After spending hundreds of dollars over four
years on dating sites, I have finally pulled all my
ads and
given up the search.
