Wondering if Online Dating is for Me
48 year old female
from New Jersey Well as you can see, I am an older
female, but am told that I could "pass" for
younger. The online dating experience has been difficult.
I have used eHarmony.com (how
awful that was...you had to wait until THEY sent you
someone to consider. And
sometimes that took weeks - as your subscription continues
to end!). I have used Match.com for
which it was better, but I don't think that the men
are "serious" about
wanting a relationship. If they are, they are seeking
Ms. America and not an average looking woman. I
met two men through Match.com.
The evening started out very
nice and, in fact, was asked out on a second date.
The second date went well, I thought, but never
heard from them again. I think that there are SO MANY
WOMEN on Match.com,
that even though a man may like a particular woman,
the temptation is there to continue
to look for better and better.
I am seriously interested
in meeting a nice man and wonder whether this online
dating thing is for me because I think the men on
the sites are "serial" daters and truly
not looking for anything more than that.
