Boyfriend Surfing Online Dating Sites

I met my current boyfriend on an online
dating site. He was the first guy I talked with and
we instantly
hit it off. We have been together now for a year
and a half.
I was on his computer a few months ago
when
I noticed that he had been on the dating site recently.
When I checked further I noticed he had been on there
several times three months after our relationship
began. I confronted him with this and asked him to
stop.
I told him it made me feel like I wasn't good enough.
If that is how he really felt then we should call
it
quits now. He told me it was sick curiosity on his
part. He spends most mornings trading stocks on the
Internet and finds himself on the dating sites occasionally.
I accept his explanation.
We don't live together
so I have to trust he has stopped. Also we live in
a small
town. If he was dating or seeing someone else on
the side then I would eventually find out. I think
guys are creatures of habit. Before he met me this
was
his
morning routine.
I think men are not Monogamous
by nature. They have to choose to be like that
for the right person. I know my guy is with me and
only
with me. It still doesn't excuse his previous
behavior but now that it out in the open I can put
it into
perspective. Believe me I am not shy about talking
about all of
this with him but definitely I am not going to
make it into a fight. I find just by letting him
tell me why he does it and listening to him I can help
him
to realize it will be a problem in the long run
in our relationship; that his curiosity has effected
my
trust of him.
