There is no perfect formula for online
dating.
Yes, you've seen and heard it all. And no matter what
new techniques dating services try to throw at you,
the bottom line is that there is no absolute or guaranteed
sure
way to successfully find that perfect match.
The only sure way in knowing if that person is the
one for you is by meeting him or her in person, and
after spending at least an hour with each other even
if it is just for a coffee, you will know definitely
if you scored.
So save your money, because there is no paying dating
service that can absolutely guarantee you such results.
If they can, then how come they don't state; "Money
back guarantee if we can't find that perfect mate."
Now if
you think
trying out a free dating service will save you money
and time, think again. Sure everyone wants to use a
free dating service, but if you decide to take that
route there are some things you should be aware of:
a) Make sure that it is 100% Free!
There are those dating services that use the term
'Free membership', 'Free dating service', 'free sign
up'. Read the fine print. Be absolutely certain if
what they offer is 100% free.
b) Before signing on with any free
service, test their service by first sending them
an e-mail and
inquiry
about their service. Ask questions. See how long
it will take before you get a reply. And if you don't
get a response at least within the hour, that basically
tells you their customer support service reflects
what
they have to offer. Not worth it.
c) Look for a service
that at least has the following links; 1) About
Us, 2) Terms, 3) Privacy, and there
should be an address and telephone number where
they can be reached. If they possess these elements
then
you know they are a true online business and not
a type of service being run by one person as a hobby.
Remember when you sign-on with a free dating service
you are supply them with personal information as well
as your photo. Stick with a legitimate free online
dating service. There are quite a few and well established
on the Internet.
d) Keep in mind that many of these
so-called free dating services are only a temporary
thing. Normally
they start
off by offering their service for free until they
can build their membership and when they reach their
quota,
surprise! They will now start charging for their
service.
e) Finally
make sure that such services indicate that their
selection process in accepting applicant's is professionally
screened by personnel and before approving a user.
Why is this so important? Because a lot of these
services were designed to automatically approve any
application
provided the basic fields of information has been
completed. Not a good thing, especially since this
basically opens
a portal to suspicious activities. Another reason
why is because it is not uncommon to find a lot of
spammers hanging
around such free dating services. Call it a breeding
ground for these type of people.
One of the disadvantages
in using a free dating service is that the majority
of people that hang around such
places are not truly serious, and such services are
a great spot just to hang out and use the forums or
chat online. Let's face it, if you were truly serious
wouldn't you be using a professional
dating service?
Are there any free dating services that conduct themselves
as a professional business?
Yes, there are, but you must remember that when using
any search engine to find a free dating service, it
is the information or choice of keywords that play
a major
factor when trying to zero in on
what you are looking for. For example, using 'Free
Dating' or 'dating' is what you will get. But if you
specifically
indicate what you are looking for such as; "Free
professional dating service', '100% Free professional
dating', or ' Professional Dating service', etc. you
will get those services that are not only free but
are recognized and established as 'professional'. That
is what you are looking for.
It is the same if you are looking for, let's say,
an Asian mate; probably you would type in 'Asian dating'
or 'free Asian dating', etc. Not! Think again. Write,
'Professional Asian dating service', or 'free professional
Asian dating service'. Also when using search engines
and entering your information try using a '+' sign,
a nifty trick that helps speed up the process thus;
'Free+professional+dating+service'.
After so much time spent on using and experiencing
such so-called free dating services, it took me a year
to finally figure out what I was doing wrong. But I
hope by sharing this knowledge with others, I can save
you the time and disappointment.
