Three Different Experiences

Deceived and disappointed is my experience.
I dated a man from Canada several months ago. He was
temperamental and kept being nice and then nasty. He
would send me sweet loving ecards
for some months and then eventually we met.
I got the hotel reservations and even met him at the
airport. He was nasty and nice so
it was very confusing. Soon he told me he had
come to "meet" other women from here and
was looking to start a site for african women!
I was really mad.. Ok it didnt last because I
felt so deceived. Anybody been there?

Online dating sites are really corny to me. I've
tried a few sites and few women ever set up a membership,
so they make it too difficult to meet. There are
too many confusing ads - women who display a provocative
pic yet affirm they're a sweet, shy, virginal
old-fashioned Daddy's girl. Too many single moms
with (at least) two kids not looking for a Dad
wondering where are all the men who 'keep it real'
are. Too many 'where's my knight 'prince'.
I've also noticed that women are WELL aware of
their visual assets, regardless of how they supposedly
hate to be judged by them - cleavage, butts, legs...
if she thinks it's hot it's there on display.
And
if she thinks she doesn't have it, she'll
slyly pose it away to draw attention elsewhere...
Too many women posing with kids and dogs - yawn. Too
many women who can't seem to gather up the strength
to complete a description of themselves. Too many women
who are too alike - love sports (who cares?), outdoors,
beach, working out, telling their career - ad after
ad after ad.
The online environment is no different
than real life. I haven't seen many women lately
who have inspired
me.

My online dating experience was good. We talked for
a year before we met face to face. When we met, it
was awkward because we were use to just talking online.
But we got use to it. We didn't last, but I would still
say that I would online date again. I would basically
say that he was my first boyfriend which was just great.
I would say online dating is good as long as precautions
are taken.
